BTRA has procured and commissioned an Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Treating Machine (DBD) for textiles and polymers. Its salient features are as follows.

• Materials such as fabric, nonwovens, polymer films, linings are treated in continuous length.

• Roll to roll treatment is possible.

• Up to 50 cm width of materials is treated.

• Some of the carrier gases used are Helium, Oxygen, Argon and Nitrogen.

• Treatment conditions are being optimised as per client’s needs.
