BTRA Celebrates International Yoga Day

The Bombay Textile Research Association (BTRA) enthusiastically celebrated International Yoga Day with a special session led by its esteemed Director, Dr. T.V. Sreekumar. The event brought together staff and researchers for a rejuvenating experience focused on promoting well-being and a healthy lifestyle.

Participants engaged in various yoga asanas and breathing exercises, guided by experienced instructors, emphasizing the physical and mental benefits of incorporating yoga into daily life. Dr. Sreekumar addressed the attendees, highlighting the importance of holistic health and the role of yoga in fostering a balanced and productive environment within the organization.

Visit of Hounrable Textile Minister Shri Giriraj Singh, and Senior Government Officials

BTRA is thrilled to announce that we had the honor of hosting the Hounrable Textile Minister Shri Giriraj Singh on 13th July 2024, along with Smt. Rachna Shah (Textile Secretary), Shri. Rajeev Saxena (Joint Secretary), Smt RoopRashi Mahapatra (Textile Commissioner), Shri S P Verma (Joint Textile Commissioner) at The Bombay Textile Research Association. It was a privilege to showcase our latest innovations and contributions to the textile industry during this esteemed visit.

The Minister’s encouragement and support mean a great deal to us, and we are motivated to continue our journey of excellence in textile research and development. BTRA has successfully installed the Carbon Fiber Precursor spinning line. It has the capability to spin 1K,2K,3K,4K carbon fiber precursor tow.

The 61st Joint Technological Conference Organized jointly by ATIRA, BTRA, SITRA & NITRA on 14th & 15th Dec, 2023 at BTRA, Mumbai. This is the 61st in the series held every year by rotation at each venue. This conference, as a tradition, has always attracted a large number of technical audiences from all over the country.
