On the Invitation of Government of Chhattisgarh, the 83rd Annual Session of Indian Roads Congress held at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Auditorium and Science College Ground, GE Road, Raipur (Chhattisgarh) from 8th-11th November, 2024. This important event commenced with the inauguration by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari Ji .
Over 3,000 participants are attended the convention. This includes experts, scientists, and engineers from across India. Their collective expertise enriches discussions and technical sessions. The diverse representation encourages collaboration among various stakeholders. During the Annual Session of IRC, there has been a practice for various firms/organizations to make Technical Presentations on their products/technologies & case studies.
BTRA (The Bombay Textile Research Association )is thrilled to share that BTRA recently participated in the prestigious Indian Roads Congress (IRC) Annual Session. Our team had the opportunity to present our latest research on geosynthetic reinforced asphalt pavements. This innovative approach is paving the way for more durable, sustainable, and cost-effective road infrastructure.
In addition to showcasing our research, we also highlighted the capabilities of our Center of Excellence (COE) in geotextile and testing facilities for asphalt and soil. Our state-of-the-art facilities are dedicated to advancing industry standards and fostering innovation in pavement engineering and geosynthetics.
